Dell M3800 Nvidia Quadro 1100M 60HZ @ 4K 4:4:4

I have a dell precision M3800 laptop with the quadro 1100M graphics card and the Sony XBR49X830C TV that I'm using as a monitor.  The TV supports 4K @ 60Hz 4:4:4 and I have verified it with another computer.  However, with my M3800 I am only able to get 30Hz, I am using a display adapter to HDMI 2.0 with a HDMI 2.0 cable and have verified that the cable/adapter work at 60 Hz (using another laptop).

The M3800 supports 4K @ 60Hz with it's built in display but I can' t get 60Hz on this external display, is this a limitation of the graphics card or a driver issue?  I have the latest  drivers of everything though,

Hello spikespiegal,

I haven´t read any answer to your question, and I am exactly in the same situation as you. I have tried to change the resolution manually but there is no option to do it from nvidia panel control, and using the intel panel you can change it but anyway it does not work.

Did anyone help you with this?

Andres
