Dell Studio 1537 Processor Upgrade

Hello, Right now I currently have a basic Dell Studio 1537 with Windows 7 Home Premium on it. I'd like to be able to put a higher processor in it, such as an i7. Right now it has a core 2 duo. I will do whatever it takes to game on this laptop. I'm not a big fan of getting new computers or laptops, sadly... This laptop has been with us for many years, and I hope to keep it that way. Thanks :)

Unlike desktops, which has a standard motherboard design like ATX or microATX, laptops have motherboard made for that particular chassis. This motherboard can't be replaced with any other motherboard, although they have the same features. Since Core i7 processor requires a different motherboard, the possibility of upgrade is, therefore, ruled out.

Hence, the best option is to go for a new laptop.
