Dell Support Assist
I show the program Dell Support Assist under Programs and Features, 197 MB, however, I can not find it on my OS Windows 7 PRO 64 bit. Can someone please help me find this program. Also,
I cannot install Dell System Detect
I cannot run quick test for common hardware problems.
Diagnostics in progress (Four Squares) continue to rotate. Nothing happens after a long time of square rotation.
Error message: Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor.

I need to put Windows 7 on my Inspiron 1545 laptop 4GB Hard Drive, 256GB Memory. I have Windows XP PRO on it now. Please help me get started with some recommendations/suggested websites for performing this task. Also, can you please advise a source for purchasing the OS Windows 7. Thank you. You have been so helpful in the past!
