Dell System Profiler

Did Dell disable the System Profiler. I have three Dell laptops and the profiler URL doesn't load or execute on any of the machines.

I'm sorry to say that Dell Support was no help on this one. The System Profiler probably works correctly on some machines but not on my Dell PC's. I have three. After Google'ing the term "dell system profiler" I received a number of hits in the search. The first hit was a link to the the System Profiler license agreement. Once I clicked yes a scan was performed and the system information was displayed in the web page. This was the thing I was missing on all three PC's, the license agreement. It was never presented so the scan wasn't working. So, it seems there's a problem on the server side after the ActiveX control module and syspro.inf are downloaded and installed. Just a theory.

Another note, after the scan is completed and I review all the data about the PC. If I click back to the original configuration tab and then back to the current configuration tab. All the data is lost. In order to get it back I have to go back to the license agreement URL to accept the terms so the scan can execute again.
