Dell Travel Remote not working after upgrading to Win. 7
I have upgraded to Windows 7 and upgraded the drivers. I tested the remote control using the webcam. and it's working fine. I have tried updating the drivers but it did not do anything. Why did my Dell travel Remote stop working?:emotion-6:
My computer is a Studio XPS 1640.

Same problem here. Looks like windos 7 installs it's own thing or something which - obviously - does not do the trick... I haven't managed to uninstall the windows 7 native driver and install the dell one.

I have a Studio 1735 with the same issues, I also upgraded from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64bit and had the same problem.
Here's what I did: Go to Device Manager click on "Human Interface Devices" Right click "ITECIR Infrared Receiver" and select "Uninstall"
Next get your Drivers & Utilities disk and install the driver: ITE IT8512 CIR Receiver Rev: A01
Works fine now, good luck,
Mike
