Dell Vostro 2520 Wake on Lan
Hi. I am trying to activate wake on lan function on my Vostro 2520 (Win 7 x64 HP).
I have enabled it on my NIC in advanced options.
But i don’t see this kind of option on bios (i have newest on A11)
My notbook when is shut down i can find it by app WakeMeOnLan (this app i am using and it’s working with my other comuters perfectly)
But i can’t wake my vostro.
Ca any one help me?

The 2011 Vostro 2520 Bios does not have any WOL LAN options. So the commands must be from within the NIC driver. Are the other laptops also using the Realtek Ethernet Controller?

Unknown, You need to find out what the other laptops are using. If Realtek, find out the driver version, then check the driver version on the Vostro. Our driver was released on 2/7/13, version 7.53.216.2012.

Thanks for response.
I don't know is there any other laptops using Realtek - i suppost there are. But i don't have them. I have only this vostro.
WOL i am using on desktop PC and i don't have any problem with it.
Is there any solution form my Vostro WOL problem?
