Dell Vostro 3750 touchpad

Cannot figure out how to disable the touch pad in Windows 7. The sensitivity on it is absolutely horrible and makes it near impossible to type without having to stop and clear out the mistakes from the cursor getting moved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem. I've read all the suggestions but I can't disable the touch pad.

Same. Is there an answer to this anywhere? I am at the point that I have had to connect another keyboard to complete writing project. Rediculous.

So, this is the third and last time I try to post on this thread. Hopefully no DELL Community moderator will delete it!

This answer was given by Jaroslav R. (DELL Support Specialist) - thank you for this, it worked for me:

Pressing Fn + F3 should disable the touch pad. If this not works, try updating the driver:

Same problem. This is soooo frustrating. The cursor seems to have a mind of its own, constantly moves to other places on your document.

Is this a sofware driver problem. This laptop is barely one year old. I regret opting for this.
