Dell Wireless 1704 WiFi Driver won't install properly on Windows 10

I am using an Inspiron 7520 (mid 2010) laptop and have recently upgraded to Windows 10. My WiFi doesn't work properly, it will work for sometime after a restart and then it starts saying that the connection is limited while there are no issues on any other devices connected to the same WiFi. I uninstalled all network drivers from Device Manager and tried installing "Dell Wireless 1704 WiFi Driver". After installation new drivers do appear in the Network section of Device Manager but the installer says "The update installer operation is unsuccessful." and the problem persists. I am pasting the installation log below. Please help, this is very annoying.
