Dell XPS 15z L511z From 720p to 1080p transition

My situation is Im trying to upgrade my lcd screen from 720p to 1080p , ive done this with another computer , a hp with no problem ,i had to replace the screen and lcd cable , now i have a XPS 15z (L511z) it had 720p lcd screen with resolution Resolution : WXGA and the LCD cable that belongs to it (Part: N6MMX) .I have recently bought a 1080p LCD screen that belongs to the XPS 15z(L511z)
Now the reason im posting this is because i know the part for 720p screen is N6MMX but im hoping is that anybody will give me a link of where can i get the right lcd cable (video cable) for 1080p or part number

In conclusion does anyone have the part number for the cable of 1080p LCD screen for the XPS 15z L511z?

That screen appears to be for a Latitude/Precision - not the XPS.

Apparently there are two different, mutually incompatible screens at 1080p used in this system -

B156HW03 V.0

and

B156XW03 V.0

You should likely ask a Dell parts seller such as parts-people.com which one you need -- it looks like most places sell a complete upper assembly (screen/bezel/hinges/cable) for this model - not just the panel.

This model has only one cable - it's dual channel so it supports both the 720 and 1080p screens.

yes you are correct , so do you have the model name of the correct screen or part number ?

i found N156HGE-LG1 and 9FN4Y, is that correct?

That's not what you'd see by using a low-resolution cable with a high resolution screen (which would result in a fuzzy screen missing every other line).

This is either a bad panel or an incompatible one -- does the system BIOS correctly identify the screen by its EDID?  F2 at powerup to check.
