Dell XPS 2016 (9350) - Realtek Audio Driver (V6.0.1.7829) malfunction ****HIGH ISSUE****
Hi Team,
I just purchased Dell XPS 9350. Whenever I do full shutdown then boot, always video, audio (both online and local videos) via any browser, VLC, movies & tv app are not playing and its keep loading. It will resolve once I restart the system, so its consistantantly happening after every full shutdown then boot.
I found that it's because of Realtek HD Audio driver (V6.0.1.7829) and system working perfectly after rolling back to HD Audio Device default driver. Please fix this.

Which Realtek driver do you now have (6.0.1.7945?), and which Windows Update pack are you referring to?

Hi.
The Realtek driver is the 6.0.1.7917 dated 23/08/2016
The Windows Update is the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607: September 29, 2016 (OS Builds 14393.222).
Hope it helps!

Hello. Who issued it, Windows Update?
I don't see it on Dell's XPS 9350 driver page.

Thank you. So it is the same one you posted about on Sept 28? Is it still doing okay for you? The reason I ask is that I'm trying to keep a list of solutions for various issues, that are being reported.

Yes. WU installed Realtek Audio 6.0.1.7917, 8/23/2016. My audio isn't crashing and my notifications/taskbar are not hanging. Can't say if all the original Dell/Realtek HD Audio features are supported. But supported features are pretty useless when the audio is crashed.
