Dell XPS15 (L502X) Charging issues

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my XPS15. Initially I was able to power my laptop via the mains but could not charge the battery. I was continually met with an error message and an orange blinking light.

With previous Dell support I replaced the battery and D/C jack which solved the problem. I was very happy as this also helped speed systems up in general, the laptop has been great for the past 2-3 weeks but last night the problems started again.

I picked my laptop up and the battery was depleted, connecting the A/C adapter I noticed the orange blinking light again. Thinking this was just a bit of a glitch I restarted my laptop. Since then I can power my machine but not charge.....No blinking light at all. I'm sure the battery couldn't have burnt out in 2-3 weeks????

I have noticed that there is suddenly an unknown device without a driver being presented??? I have tried to update this device with a driver but none can be found ??

Can anyone help ???

Thanks guys
