Dell XPS15 L521X: Intel Rapid Start Technology Driver Update Failure

Hello:

I just upgraded my dell L521X (standard configuration) to Windows 8 Pro and updated most drivers, but fails for Intel Rapid Start Technology Driver or iFFS_Intel_W84_X03_A00_Setup-FFRXR_ZPE. After unzipping, the installer prompts that "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software"

Everything appears to work just fine .. Any suggestions on why this would fail?

Also: I would like to enable the mSata Cache. Is there a wiki or how-to on this subject?

Thomas

I do not see the IRST application in the control panel, the 32gb mSata appears offline. BIOS (A12) sata operation is set to "Intel Smart Response Technology"  .. anyone?

I am facing the same problem: do you remember which driver exactly solved your problem?
