Dell inspiron 1545 black screen - test without memory
Hi
My inspiron 1545 have black screen problem, when i maintain the fn i have a 4 beep sound . So i tried to removed 1 ram card , swap the card etc...no result, so if i remove both ram card will i see somthing at screen.

No, the system will not complete POST and cannot display anything on the screen without at least one working memory module. Try the modules one at a time in each socket - if you can't get a response from either module in either socket, replace the mainboard.

Ok,
I tried good memory modules and again nothing on screen, I`m going to replace the mainboard . My laptop have a Mothebroard H314N and i know that a G849F can worked. Is it a good idea to put a G849F and do i need another bios with it.?
