Dell latitude D820 battery charger
Hello,
I currently own two old Dell laptops Latitude D610 and D820. I bought a new battery for D820 but it could not charge. Can I use my D610 laptop to charge the D820 battery if somehow I can mange to plug it in the socket?
Thank you.

The D820 battery cannot fit into the D610.
610 =
820 =
What was the Dell 5 digit part number on the original D820 battery? And the Dell 5 digit part number on the replacement battery?

Hello Chris, Thanks for your reply. I intended to take out D610 case and create myself a D820 charging dock as I have 1 spare D610 laptop with keyboard broken. My original battery Type was CF623, and the replacement is also CF623 (and YD623, CF704, too).

CF623 is not appearing in our database?
YD623 = 85w, 9C, Simplo lithium battery (Latitude D820, Precision M65)
CF704 = 85w, 9C, Simplo lithium battery (Latitude D620/D630/D820/D830, Precision M65/M4300)
