Dell studio 1535 laptop blank screen volume lights flashing
Hello guys
I'm having a problem with my Dell studio 1535 running Windows 7 64bit.
When I power on the system, the screen goes blank. Then the volume up and mute buttons keep flashing while the volume down button is on but doesn't flash.
I have connected it to an external monitor but I don't find any display in the beginning and after sometime a weird screen with an array of square blocks of different colours come up.
I have tried the LCD bist test and the results are grey blank red green blue white blank red green.
Also the Bluetooth lights up and goes off and then becomes steady.
I haven't tried opening the system.
Could anyone diagnose the issue?

Sounds like a bad GPU - which means a replacement mainboard is needed.

You have to bring it to the repair center. I am afraid there are some problems on your mainboard since connecting it the external display will not work. If there is a problem on LCD, the power will still on, but without display.
