Dell vostor 1500 screen problem the

hello every one I am haven problems with the screen of my dell vostor 1500 is not turning on when the laptop starts I have replaced the screen and inverter but still no good but I found the laptop work when I connect it to a external monitor any help would be great many thanks Jonathan harpur
