Dells PC
My Dells computer has Windows 8.1 but when I try to use desktop or any of my computer icons it just puts me back to my previous screen. Can you help me?

A one-liner on a forum will not attract responses. Please write a detailed description of the issue.
What is the exact system model? When did the issue start? Please write more info about the issue you are facing. If possible, record a video and upload on youtube and provide us with the link.
If the system was working fine earlier, please try system restore to restore the system back to the point where it was working fine - see the following links:
Restart and check the system in safe mode if it working fine - http://bit.ly/1lJHAvx
Right click on the windows icon on bottom left -> choose command prompt with admin -> type in wsreset.exe and press enter. It should reset W8 store cache. Once completed, restart the system and check if it works fine.
