Disable Touchpad
When I install a Microsoft wireless mouse I would like to disable my touchpad. How is this achieved?
Thanks

The best way I have found is to disable it in the BIOS, on startup press F1 or F2 to get into the BIOS; once there page through using tab or arrow keys until you find the TouchPad page. hightlight it and press spacebar to show disable. Then press esc to exit and save changes. The reason I have put in a varity of options to press is that systems are different.

Don't do it in the BIOS. Double click the TouchPad icon in the notification area and select Device Select. Then you can disable or enable both the touch pad and the touch pad buttons.
