Docking Station
Hi,
I want to bay a new Dell Docking station (Pro 3X) for my laptop e7440 . The docking station come with PA-4E 19.5V/6.7A charger . This charger dose make any damage to my battery laptop ? Can connect docking station with my laptop charger ?

Thank you for your interest in Dell docking solutions.
Typically, AC adapters that come with Dell docks are a little higher in wattage than the ones that come with computers. This is simply because the dock needs extra power in order to operate. Since the AC adapter that comes with the laptop is a lower wattage adapter, it will simply not be adequate to be used with the dock. Using your system with the dock and having the AC adapter supplied with the dock plugged into the dock, will not harm your battery.
