Driver updating
I installed Dell Driver Detect on Inspiron 5547 with Windows 8.1, 64 bit, i7 processor, and then allowed it to self-detect my system and any drivers to update. It found only one recommended update, a chipset driver which I downloaded and saved.
It also recommended that to insure that the download is good I should verify the checksums.
I am assuming this update should be installed and how do you verify it using the checksums?

We would suggest you to update the chipset drivers manually from the website as per service tag or system model.
