E1505 CPU Upgrade path?
I'm currently at a Core Duo T2300 and was wondering what were some of the higher speed cpu's that would work?
If I understand correctly a T7200 or T7400 would work and maybe a T7600 ? But because of their cost are there any lower numbers that would be a significant upgrade yet not bust the wallet?

My apologies....I had searched 1505 upgrade before and came up with gobledygook but realized my mistake and typed in E1505 and it looks like I've got a few threads to read.

The T7200, T7400 and T7600 will all work. However, most current T7x00 CPUs will not - they are socket P. If x is odd or above 6, the CPU will not work.
There are other socket P CPUs that won't work, as well.
