E6540 Using Windows XP Mode.
I installed XP Mode on this machine to run older software that can only run on XP. I have a 6530 and it runs with no issues in XP Mode. The device is a USB to serial converter that shows an error every time I try and attach it to XP from Windows 7. I also notice that due to end of life with XP that Dell did not create drivers for XP for the 6540. Am I missing something or will XP mode not fully function on E6540 and later laptops? Thanks, Aaron

"I have a 6530"
Latitude 6430 and 6530 series do have XP drivers.
HOWEVER XPMODE in windows has ZERO to do with a particular models drivers.
100 Percent USB Driver compatability is not guaranteed in XP mode. And XP Mode is not supported by Dell.
