E7440 ACPI issues

Dell e7440 running Ubuntu 16.04. When I boot the laptop in my dock the login screen freezes and I cannot type. If I boot the laptop off the dock I can login and then dock the machine no issues. Below are some messages I suspect are related. I am running bios A18
