Establishing/maintaining a wireless connection with an Epson Printer/Scanner.

Can anyone assist me please?

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop (Windows 7) that I purchased in April this year.

I have relocated from Australia to Spain with my family.

I have just purchased an Epson SX420W printer/scanner/copier.

I can print wirelessly from my laptop OK, but I can't seem to keep the wifi connection to initiate a wireless scan from my laptop or the scanner.
