External 1440p monitor for XPS 13 Touch (3200x1800)

I'd like to buy a 1440p monitor (Dell's U2515H 25" Ultrasharp) for my XPS 13 laptop with touch screen and 3200x1800 resolution. (I'm OK without the touch on the external monitor.)

But, when I invoke: windows desktop -> graphic options -> resolution I do not see 2560x1440 as a resolution option. (There are other 16:9 resolutions like 3200x1800, 2048x1152, 1920x1080)

So, will my XPS 13 work well with this monitor? I can't believe that the graphics does not offer standard 1440p resolution, but I don't see it now.
