External Video Questions

I have a Dell Studio 1737 with the Intel Video Chipset.

I want to connect it to a T.V but dont know that much info about this system.
Is there anyway to do this, and what hardware do I need....???

Heres a link to something I was looking at for doing this but it asks me to verify
if my system can support...
(TV (RCA/S-Video) output through VGA port)
Here's the URL link to the product.

http://cgi.ebay.com/VGA-SVGA-to-S-VIDEO-3-RCA-TV-AV-CONVERTER-CABLE-ADAPTE_W0QQitemZ250515194715QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a53de835b
and of course I don't know if my system does support this hardware.

Any help will be so nice...
Thanks..
Jake

I also have HDMI connector on my 1737 Studio....
What about a hdmi to avi / svideo converter...?

EDIT:
My Intel Chipset graphics has a TV Wizard option....

The cable alone won't work - your system doesn't have VGA to TV support.

You'll need something like this:

There are a couple of HDMI to S-video converters, but they're going to cost 3-4 times what the VGA to S-video one does - this is a digital to analog conversion  Before spending $300-400 on a converter, you might be better off upgrading to a TV with an HDMI input -- or for that matter, buy a 22-25" monitor with HDMI - they're well under $200 now.

S-video is video only.

If the TV has a HDMI input port, I'd go with the HDMI for the sound and video to be carried to the tv, you'll get a better pictures that way anyway.  HDMI cables are pretty cheap now, depending on the length of cable you need.
