FN + page up/down

Question

Hi all,      I have a Dell Inspiron 1300 and I have some problems with Fn key. When I press Fn + page Up or down to increase or lower the volume the computer freezes completly. All the other Fn combinations are working properly (F1, F2 etc.)   I tried to reinstall the audio driver and the keyboard and mouse driver but still doesn't work.   Can anyone give me some advice in how to fix that, please?   Many thanks.

The program that controls the keys is 'Dell Quickset', so you might want to try re-installing it. Jim

I did reinstall the Dell QuickSet but the computer still freezes. I also scanned the PC for viruses and is not virused. I also tried to restore it but the same problem occurs. All the other combinations with Fn are working fine except Mute and Volume (pg up/down)
