Fan constantly on when Dell XPS 13 A/C plugged in
Hey all,
Any clue why the fan gets crazy as soon as the Dell XPS 13 in on A/C?
I understand the system is "intelligent" enough to compensate the heat coming from the battery, by running the fan. But at start up? and on a constant basis?
Please help, and thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.
P.S. I have played around the Dell Power Manager app to tweak the Thermal Management options, but nothing significant there.
Thanks for your help

Hi Robert,
Thanks for your answer.
I have tweaked the Power options a the BIOS settings a bit, and it seems a bit more bearable.
I have been working with the latest BIOS version so far, I still have no clue what that comes from.
I am watching the device a few more days, then I'll go back to Tech Support.
Cheers
