Format External Hard Drive
I would like to know how to re-formate my external hard drive. It was working and something happen with the computer and now it wants me to formate when I insert the geek stick into my computer. I have a Dell Vostros.

are you talking about a usb thumb drive..if so.... put the thumb drive into a usb port....click on start , click on my computer, right click on the thumb drive. , click on format
