Gray screen with black stripes immediately after power up.
Since last week I've been having this issue with my laptop. No windows/dell logo is shown, no matter how much I wait nothing more happens. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5420

Hi Rene Esparza,
Please disconnect the peripherals, remove the battery hold on to the power button for 10-20 seconds. Put back the battery and try turning it on.
Also I would suggest you to run diagnostics http://bit.ly/11rpNTs reply with your findings.

It seems that my display and/or cable is the one that's not working.
