Hardware Virtualization?

I have an Inspiron N5030 and I cannot find how to "enable" hardware virtualization.

I looked in the BIOS and couldn't find it. Is it hidden somewhere?

Please help!

The T4500 does not support virtualization.  If you need that feature and your system will support it, you'll need to upgrade the CPU to one that does.

If the option is missing, it's very likely you have a CPU that does not support it -- what model CPU do you have?

Hi,

I don't know exactly the option missing or not. But, i know, Intel will providing software for checking virtualization enabled or not.

  1. Try to download the below software from Intel over internet.
  2. Install pidenu38.exe  for choosing your language
  3. Open pidenu38.exe with administration rights
  4. It will shows the what kind of features had your motherboard support's.

That was what I was not only afraid of but also thinking.

I did a web search for more. I guess I wasn't looking in the right place.

Thanks for everyone's help. I was more than pleased with not only the help but

also with the proper attitude it was given. I wish more web boards were like this one.

Again, thanks! You guys are great.
