Has anyone used third party memory on a Precision M6600 workstation?

Dell charges so much for their RAM, especially relative to the plethora of third party offerings. Does anyone have experience using third party RAM with a Dell Precision M6600 workstation? Thanks.

I used 2 2GB sticks of Kingston Ram in a Precision M65 ( that machine came with Win XP that I switched to Win 7 64 bit)

I ran AutoCAD 2011 on that M65

Have 16G of crucial ram and have had no problems. Bought the computer with 2G for the reason you stated and installed the new ram myself.
