HeadMare wants to be able to remove a password on an Inspiron B130 so I can use it. Bought it from a swap shop but appearently the password was never removed. Can anyone help me?

Hi HeadMare,

Welcome to the Community. If this is a Bios/HDD  Password you will need to call Dell Technical Support in your region, and verify the original owner details to get the password. If its an opearting system password, then you can reinstall windows using the operating system disc, or check if the restore partition is available on the hard drive to restore your computer back to factory settings, for win xp the key combination is Ctrl + F11, at the Dell logo on startup.

You're not going to be able to find the registered owner for the system - return it to the shop for a refund.
