Hi! i'm new to the community. I need help with my laptop.

Hi! I'm Starbucks Mona Lisa.

Help!! I have a problem with my Del XPS M1530 Laptop. The opening screen on my monitor has over lapping horizontal startup screens and

this makes it impossible for me to even attempt to login on my XPS M1530 at all. Its been doing this every time that I attempt to login and use

my Laptop. Does anyone  have an idea how to fix this problem? If so I would appreciate any information on what can cause this problem and what I can

do to fix this problem.                       Thanks in advance;

The video chip has failed and the mainboard will need to be replaced.  This is a known fault with the nVidia chips used in this model - Dell has extended the warranty by one year beyond what you purchased with the system, so unless the system is over two years old, it will be replaced at no cost to you.
