How do I download Stage???
I purchased a refurbished Inspiron Duo. One of the sellers was that it had Dell Stage. Apparently, I don't have it on mine. I was wondering where I can get it.

Hi
Dell Stage is applicable on for All in one Desktops 2310, one 19 etc...
Dell duo Station would be the application you would want to install on your system.

Thanks for the quick response. I downloaded, installed and ran it but still nochange when I switch to tablet. Anything else?

Sorry. Realized I wasn't very clear in my first post. When I switch to tablet, nothing changes. It is supposed to change to Tablet mode but I apparently don't have the software. Thats what I need. Sorry.

This is the wrong software. Duo Station is for use with the separately-purchased docking station.
What the poster (and now I, as I wiped my Duo to upgrade it to Windows 7 Ultimate), need the *Stage* software that includes the PhotoStage, VideoStage, BookStage, YouPaint, etc., not the duo Station software, which is useless without the actual Station dock.

Using Internet Explorer, go to My Dell Downloads :: Login
Same email address and password as here.
Add the system to the list. You can then download Dell Stage from there.

Tried that several times already. It doesn't work. After running the syspro plug-in it goes to a page that says the Application isn't responding and to call customer service it it persists. I'd try connecting it to an Ethernet connection, if the Duo had one (it's wi-fi only).

I had the same problem with registering. Please install all applicable windows updates the register your system and you will be able to access My Dell Downloads.

i am having the same type of problem when i try to go to MY DOWNLOADS it just bounces back your service tag is not surported when you ring they are not helpful either been trying for the last 3 months now dont think i shall bother with dell again if this is how they treat you...... i have the 2310 touch screen all in one

It has been suggested to clear the cookies.
If your system does not register within 5 minutes, contact Dell Tech Support.
Please use Internet Explorer(32-bit) when navigating to My Dell Downloads :: Login. Use the same email address and password you use here. Click on add system. Your paid programs can be found there.
***Systems purchased befor April 1, 2010 might NOT register with Dell My Downloads***

nope none of thease methods work either and dell surport just keep wanting to charge me to sort problem when you conside what the system cost i find it difficult to warrent paying more to just get what i had already and should have been included on a disk and the service tag should work every dell dept reconise it so why not the my downloads section pulling my hair out the whole dell customer service is rubish

no sorry that only works for the dell duo station and not the 2310. just tried it and hat is what it says wont run on mine :( but hay thanks for tring for for me ............so still looking to get dell stage with photo stage download again
