There is a checkbox in the properties box that you can disable or change the settings with.

Start thru the control panel,
then go into the mouse catagory.
Click on settings,
double click to expand each of those catagories and you will find it in there.

Hope that helps, DellaLaBella

Hmmmmmm,
OK well, try this?

Do you mean click lock?

Right click on the Synaptics Pointing Device,
Icon along the bottom of screen,
Mine is beside the time.

Left click on pointing device properties bar along top of new box,
A new dialogue box will open with Mouse properties title.
One of the buttons along the top of mine says
buttons when I click on that, I get the click lock box
right under the double click speed box.

Make sure the box is NOT checked and click apply

close by clicking OK

I've had the same problem with tapping.  To turn it off:

Under control panel, select "mouse"

Click the Device Settings tab

Halfway down in this box and on the right side, there is an option for Settings.  Select that.

(here's where mine gets kinda weird)  This will pull up another window with a list of options to the left.  On mine, tapping is not visible until I close out this window and open it again.

Clicking on Tapping will bring up an option in the block to the right to Enable Tapping.  To turn the tapping off, deselect the box.

Good luck.

Alex
