How many hdd slots Dell Inspiron 7720 does have?

I would like to buy Dell Inspiron 7720. But also I would like to install additional SSD drive. Is it possible to install a second hard drive inside Dell Inspiron 7720?

There is space for two internal drives (plus the optical drive).  HOWEVER, if you do not order the system with two drives, you will not receive the bracket and screws for mounting a second drive - make sure you buy those when you purchase the hard drive (the bracket has to come from Dell).

Hi Alex,

I would like to inform you that Inspiron 7720 supports Dual Hard Drive. The Inspiron™ 7720/17R (SE) systems are offered with SATA 2 Hard Disk Drives, SATA 2 and 3 mSATA Solid State Drives. The following hard-drive options are available:-

This is a 15" system - it does not have support for two internal drives.

Hi Deepa,

I would like to know if Dell Inspiron 7520 has dual slots so that I can add a ssd later to it?

You can replace your optical drive with a hard drive by getting a caddy (ebay) for it.  I have such a beasty running in many of my systems.  They run fine and fast!!!

I got my 7720 at an unnanamed big box store and it had the frame for the hdd and the connections already there.

OPEN the bottom panel before you buy and LOOK to see if the caddy and connector are there, would be my advice.

A small, tiny, phillips head is all you need.  Don't be shy, it won't break.  Start prying at the right rubber foot (speaker side).

I bought my 7720 online, ( in the 1TB + 32G msata configuration) and it too came with both hard drive brackets :-)
