How to Reset the BIOS Password on a Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop

You need to call Dell, verify your ownership of the system and pay for a support call. They'll help you remove the password.

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 and whenever I boot it up, I get the white error screen telling me I have a locked bios password. I never set up a password though, does anybody know what password I could use to unlock the Bios ? The error message says "This computer system , # , is protected by a password authentication system." My model No is : PP22L if that helps
