How to activate the Internal Microphone???

It should be enabled by default.  Go into your Volume Control, Select Options - Properties.  You will see a selection for "Adjust Volume For" at the top.  Select Recording.  If it is not already there, put a check mark in the box next to Microphone.  Select OK.  Your Volume Control should now have the slider for the Microphone.  Make sure it is selected and not muted, and then try adjusting the level higher.

Note:  The microphones on these systems are not designed for things such as Voice Over IP, Speech Recognition, or other similar applications.  If you wish to use these programs, it is strongly recommended that you purchase an external microphone that is recommended by the software manufacturer.

The 6000 doesn't have an internal mic. Sorry.

When I brought this notebook my internal microphone was working perfect. But recently I had to reformat my system due to virus problems. From that time onwards my internal microphone is not working. My ordinary sound system is working. Can I get some help???
