How to reset My Dell laptop password
I have a dell laptop (windows 7) but I don't remember the password to get on. Is there anyway to reset the computer that doesn't require the password?

Thank you for writing to us!
If you are talking about the operating system password then you can do a factory rest or reinstall the operating system ( note that there will be data loss)

Personally, I suggest to make a password reset disk to recover the password. And there is no data loss with this method. Here is a quite tutorial to reset dell laptop password in several clicks. However, if you prefer command prompt, then you can have a tool at Ophcrack.
