I Need USB2 Driver for XP to my INSPIRON 1520 Laptop

Hi 4 all

I have INSPIRON 1520 laptop,

when I install VISTA my USB ports is HIGH SPEED 2.0 with no problems

and I got:

Enhanced Universal PCI to USB Host Controller

But when I install XP, its NOT USB2

I got "Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller"

and when I plug High-Speed Device I got message says that the port is not High speed or something like that.

even the Copy to my USB-Flash in VISTA is faster than in XP

I think I tried ALL the DELL Drivers in "Drivers & Downloads" but still same!

Any suggestions?

thanks

Did you install the Notebook System Software and Intel mobile chipset drivers for WinXP?

Also, are you running at least SP2 for WinXP?

You need these to get USB 2 speeds.

Edit:

Make sure that you install the device drivers in the correct order.

Here are the instructions on what that order is.
