INSPIRON 1100 Display: Black Borders
I formatted my laptop and reinstalled windows, and now it seems like the resolution is stuck at something like 640x480, and there are big black borders to fill the rest of the screen. I don't think it is an issue with windows since it is the same during startup and in the bios and such. I searched through the bios to see if there was a way to change the resolution but couldn't find anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You need to install the Dell notebooks system software, the Intel chipset driver, and the video driver. Support.dell.com, downloads.
