Inspiron 1300/B130 blank screen
LCD Display is not working. Can watch it POST, load Windows, then the screen goes blank B4 i can sign in.
I can barely see whats on the screen, but it is extremely faint. I've tried the brightness (fn+F8) to no avail.
I suspect it may be an Inverter or the backlight. Does anyone have a definitive diagnosis?
Are there any DELL diagnostics that can pinpoint the problem?

If an external monitor works, it's either the inverter or backlight as you note.
