Inspiron 1440 Processor Upgrade core i5
Hi Everyone!!!
I currently have a Delll Inspiron 1440 with:
- Intel Pentium Dual Core T4300
- DDR2 2GB RAM
Just wanted to know if it's possible to upgrade it to Intel Core i5.

So, what is the maximum processor the PP42L can handle? I have currently have the 2.1gHz Dual Core T4300.

The T4500 is the fastest of that series of CPUs.

Best choice is a P9700. This processor is faster, generates less heat, and will give a noticeable improvement in performance.
