Inspiron 15 Intel N5100 C: and D: partitions
I have a
C: OS partition with 58.5 GB of which 56.2 are used...very little available space
D: DATA partition with 397 GB of which 1.52 GB are used...lots and lots of available space..
I'm trying to load video editing software. I downloaded the .exe install file to the D: drive but when I run the program it automatically installs the program on the C: and...of course.,...due to size...it won't install.
I have moved all my data, picture, video files which were on C: to an external hard drive
How do I move available D: space to C: ?
Thanks
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
Welcome to the Community,
There are lot of freeware available which can help you merge partion space.
You can try the steps given in this link below :
www.partition-tool.com/.../merge-partition.htm
Note:This is third party software and not a Dell validated tool.Dell is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the steps given in this link.Make sure you back up all the important data on an external drive before performing these steps.
Hope this helps,
Thank You
