Inspiron 15 (N5030) - Must move lid to stop fuzziness, weak colors, lines
Hi folks,
I have an Inspiron 15 (N5030), and I often have to adjust the amount the lid is open to stop the screen display from going fuzzy, with weak colors, and/or with lines.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Hello Solid71,
In order to isolate the cause of failure, connect a known good external monitor to the laptop and check the video output on the monitor. If the external monitor works fine, the issue would be with the LCD or the LCD cable. Personally, I would suggest replacing the LCD cable first and check if that helps.
