Inspiron 15 Power LED
Hi! Just yesterday I made a purchase of a new Inspiron 15 laptop to replace my old Comaq CQ57. I turned the computer on, and everything works fine. But, I looked at the power button, and it seems that there should be at least some light or LED there, but it must be broken, because the light will not turn on. Is there a way to fix this? If so, please tell. Thank you for any help.

Well, I do have LED's on the left front side, but according to my computer, the model is called a Inspiron N5050. Is this the same thing?

I have a Inspiron 1525 that does NOT have a power LED at the on/off button but on the left front edge are the LEDs. Is that what you mean?

The N5050 is one of the Inspiron 15s, yes. And on most of these I've seen the power button does not have an LED on it.

OK we got it figured it out. It WAS on the left front edge. Sorry!
