Inspiron 1520 and Wake on Lan?
Hi,
Today I wantet to configure the WOL, but I have problems to do it!
In Bios (now the newest one) I enabled the WOL, but since my laptop is in standby or in off-mode, the lan-card is turned off, too (the leds in the switch are off).
What do I have to do?

Do you have resolved your problem ?
I have the same problem : I have set on the Wake on Lan in the Bios setup and i have set in the properties of the network card "to authorize this peripheral to put the computer in awakening".
I have a dual boot with VISTA and XP. I have set up this setting for both OS.
I need Help !!!

Where does the BIOS even *HAVE* a "wake on lan" option? Went through all screens, no such option.
