Inspiron 1525 lcd cracked - where can I get a new one - cheap?
My Inspiron 1525 lcd cracked or broked...I have horizontal bars acrossed the screen.. There's a small black dot in the upper left corner... when i connect my user display port to another display there's nothing wrong.... so i figure it's the lcd.... however Dell service tech support will not honor my warrentee... so i since i dont have 400plus dollars, i figure i'l change it my self..... where can i find a lcd wholesale? thanks....

A new screen from a retailer will run about $300. You can search Ebay for unwarranted new screens or used ones - probably half that, perhaps less - with of course the risk that comes with any purchase of a (used) part on EBay. Note that if you get a screen that's not the exact same model you now have, be sure you get an inverter and data cable to go with the screen - the ones you have may not work.
