Inspiron 15R 5521 power failure

I shut it down last night as i normally do each night, only this morning when I went to turn it back on nothing happens. My power cord light indicator is light up when not plugged into the computer, but when I plug it in it goes off? There is no power to the computer at all. This happens every-time without fail. I have tried charging it for a while, and I've tried letting is sit. I removed the battery and power supply and press down the power button for a long time and repeated it a lot of times too but no luck. I removed the HDD, RAMs and the CMOS battery and kept it that way for 5 mins and put them back in but it was still the same..... I'm out of ideas. I hope someone has any idea as to what's happening.
